Post by Omranx Hello i am looking to make a macro but i dont know how to write the macro should do the following: 1- Cast an offensive ability or spell at the current target enem Mouseover target macros for Wow are very powerful ways to cast spells at targets that your mouse is currently hovering over. They are great for more sedentary class roles like healers that cast lots of spells at different targets. They are also popular with ranged DPS for PVP and tanks for taunting, CC, and silencing Helloes. Been absent for a long time, I've lost the ability to do macros and I've lost every macro I had. Anyways, trying DH out, I thought I'd get myself a mouseover macro for Imprison, but I also want the macro to work if I click a mob so I have it in target. Meaning I wanna be able to Imprison if targetted, but if I just wanna mouse over it, I'll still cc it. #showtooltip Imprison /cast. Base Healing Macro. Alt: Self Cast Mouseover Friend: Cast on Mouseover Target Friend: Cast on Target Target Enemy Targeting Friend: Cast on Enemy's Target Default casting behavior. This condition also serves to generate the correct tooltip. #showtooltip /cast [mod:alt,@player] [@mouseover,help,nodead] [help] [@targettarget,help,nodead] [] SPEL From what you describe I guess that you want to cast some sort of buff on your mouseover target. To create a basic macro which only casts the spell when you have a friendly mouseover target you have to add this condition to the above macro. This will look like this: /cast [@mouseover,help,nodead] Renewing Mis
targettarget is specifically the target of your target. So, if you have a DPS targeted, it's whatever they're targeting. If you have a tank targeted, it's what they're tanking. If you have the boss targeted, it's whatever it has aggro on (hopefully the tank). player is you, always you. You see it in these macros as a default thing to do It will cast on the mouseover target, or your selected target, or yourself if neither of the other conditions apply. Regarding Clique- I've heard that it has the potential to have a slight lag and I enjoy the Blizz frames I have set up, so I personally prefer the macros instead
Is it possible to make a Macro for a Healing spell mouse over which if you have no mouse over target you just use a damage spell instead on the target you got targeted. i suck at macro making and been looking around trying lots of different things but nothing seems to work for what im trying to ge Casts Redemption on a dead target, then announces to the party or raid, whichever you're in, that you're ressurecting them. The macro stops if your target is not dead or is not friendly The problem with these is that you either A) need 10 different modifiers in one macro or you need 10 different macros (1 for each mark) I personally use the 2nd option binding each mark to an F key. So F1 marks moused of target with Skull, F2 does X, F3 Square and so on.. This macro casts your smite on your targets target, so for example if you're targeting and healing a player on your team and you use this macro on them, it will automatically cast smite on their target. /use [harm] [@targettarget] Smite To post a comment, you must or register. view all (0) answered (0) unanswered (0
